Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, CA

Jeremy was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I checked in, he was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. He also went out of his way to help me extend my checkout smoothly, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely helpful and professional. he truly made my stay even better.

I found this hotel to be decent and pretty representative of its tier. The lobby, restaurant, and rooms were clean and organized. Service at the front desk was very good. Service at the restaurant/bar was okay. Food and drinks at the restaurant were average. There’s a large parking lot with plenty of space all around the property. The outdoor pool, hot tub, and seating area areas - which includes a nice fire pit - are all clean and well lit. There’s a Starbucks across the street along with a Jersey Mike’s and a liquor store which I found convenient. The property is dog friendly and they were many people with their dogs but no problems. The location is average. If you need to be in this area for something specific that I’m sure it’s fine, otherwise it’s not really near anything that I’d consider touristy or interesting to people from out of town just visiting the area.

The facility itself was impressive—the Room was clean, spacious, and well-organized. However, the true star of the show was the customer service, specifically the experience provided by Mike. Mike was incredibly well-informed and helpful throughout the entire process. What stood out most was his attitude; he seemed genuinely happy to be there and truly enjoyed assisting guests. His level of professionalism is so high that even if there were any minor flaws with the establishment, you wouldn't even notice them. Mike’s amazing service completely elevates the entire business.

The service was excellent, room was clean, great lighting and we loved the air conditioning. Breakfast was best continental breakfast I’ve ever had, we showed up in the last hour and everything was still fully stocked and hot, with lots of options. The little details were so nice. In the gym there was a fridge with eucalyptus and mint infused towels, which made it a spa-like experience. I always have a to-go water bottle and they not only have ice at the ice station, but a filtered water station so you can take ice cold water to go. This was an above average experience for the great price of the room. If you’re looking for a nice stay and safe environment this is a great option. 10/10

Great hotel for the price. Right off the the interstate. Pool and hot tub were nice. Bathroom floor was not clean in our room and no trash bags in the cans. Very good overall but bro.....1 bell cart? For this entire place?

This property is how a hotel should be managed. From the friendly staff, to the service with a smile, to the breakfast and property, this is a great place to stay. I would encourage any GM from any Wyndham, choice hotels, IGH, etc. to learn from the GM John, and his staff Jacob, Jeremy, Cheyenne(apologies for spelling) on how to run a hotel, as I speak from some experience from family and friends having multiple hotels and properties. Do not hesitate to Book a stay here anytime!

Pros: This hotel has one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had in the U.S. The hot breakfast changes daily, which keeps things interesting, and they also provide almond milk for vegans and those who are lactose intolerant. The service was outstanding—truly the best I’ve experienced among U.S. chain hotels. I’m not sure how they recruit so many staff members with such great attitudes, but it really shows. We hosted a family reunion dinner there, and they kindly provided plates and silverware for us. The bedrooms are very clean with no unpleasant odors. The bathroom has a large counter space, which is especially convenient for ladies’ toiletries and makeup. There were no loud noises from neighboring rooms, and the air-conditioning was quiet and comfortable. The prices are very reasonable. Parking is only $10 per night. We stayed for six nights and saved a significant amount of money compared to staying closer to downtown. The location is excellent—while it’s not right in the center of San Diego attractions, driving to them was quick and easy. Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, along with coffee and tea, are available in the afternoon, which is a nice touch. There are three elevators, so wait times are minimal. Cons: The shampoo and conditioner provided may flatten your hair, so you may want to bring your own haircare products. The bathroom faucet is a bit outdated, though it works perfectly fine.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Spacious and clean room, comfortable and large bed. Great view on the fifth floor and breakfast with waffle option every morning. Didn’t try the gym or swimming pool but maybe next time
